Did a engine swap from a 289 to a 302, I restored most of the parts myself, I had found a summit 4 barrel carburetor in my grandfather's barn and put that on it, I did a camshaft rebuild, doesn't have an exhaust just long tube headers, I had the seat's reupholstered and did all the paint myself.

Build story

This car was my grandfather's and was then given to my cousin, uncle, and then my mom and was given back to my grandfather he gave it to me after sitting for about 25 years the last time it was driven was at a dragstrip. I ended up talking to a guy that was rebuilding a mustang and said I can have his engine, and then I spent about a year emptying my grandfather's barn just so I can start working on this car. About a year ago I was finally able to start working on it. I pulled the engine out and hoping in the future to have it restored. I completely tore apart the 302 and replaced all the gaskets and made sure the engine was good. After I got it all put back together and painted I cleaned up the engine bay and painted it a gloss black. Doing all the work myself and with the help of my friends and family I was able to get this car running and I only spent $700 and that was mostly just for the paint and the battery right now I've had to sand down the hood and prime it so it wouldn't rust and have been waiting to get some money to do some more work to it.
