Build story

Pulled from the shadow of Martinsville Speedway this 1965 Ford F100 factory 4wd was rescued and brought back to life.
Although the previous owner had good intentions of getting the truck back on the road himself it wasn’t to be. After countless dollars were spent on getting the factory two barrel autolight carb into working condition but failing to provide fire water to the intake the project was abandoned.
Being lucky enough to have learned a think or two from the likes of YouTube stars like ViceGripGarage, JunkyardDigs, along with other I knew there had to be a simple answer. Popping the top of the carb reviled a dry float bowl and we knew the problem was up stream.
A full rebuild, refresh of the fuel system and the truck ran like a top.
She is back on the road now but has retired to a lie of ease rather then hard labor. Trip to hardware store or just around the property to keep the oil flowing and battery topped off. We don’t ask much of her but she always delivers.

Thanks for your time and to the Youtube community as a whole for sharing knowledge and entertainment to us mortals.
