Build story
My dad got this car about 5 years ago, it was in a storage unit in Green Bay, Wi. Before that it sat in a barn for roughly 30 years. We think some old lady bought it, put 60k miles on it and then it got parked. It had rust on the doors from sitting, but the interior was in really good shape. We drove it home from the storage unit, the previous owner did some work on it just to get it running so we could here it. But instead of trailering it we drove it home with a gas can under the hood! We fixed it up all in our garage and started going to car shows.
But then the camshaft went out. Which snowballed into a full engine rebuild. We changed the trans fluid, fluid looked good still. So now it's ready for more car shows and more miles. Will need rear brakes soon, plan on adding a dual line master cylinder. Don't feel the need for power steering or brakes. This was my first engine rebuild and I'm so glad it went smoothly.
