Mods
Body:
Custom front and rear end, bumpers deleted, fender flares, front and rear wings, fiberglass hood, subframe connectors, polycarbonate sidewindows, all new wiring.
Motor:
Balanced crank and rods, forged dome pistons, ported peanut port heads, bigger cam and stiffer springs, Edelbrock RPM airgap intake (port matched), Holley 850 double pumper, modified Hedman hedders shortys, HEI distributor with Accel super coil and adjustable rev limiter.
Transmission:
Tremec T-56, modded for cable operated clutch (with RAM clutches sintered disc and heavy duty pressure plate)
Brakes:
Wilwood 4-piston calipers in all corners, bigger Brembo floating front rotors, bigger Braking rear rotors.
Suspension:
Polyurethane bushings all around, relocated upper control arms, KYB gas-a-just shocks and stiffer springs in front, added coil-overs in addition to stock suspension in the rear, cal-tracks, self made panhard bar.
Interior:
Roll cage, racing seats and harnesses, modified aluminium dash with gages.
Wheels:
16" duallys in all four corners for the ice track, 12" x 16" wheels for the street and 10,5" x 18" for the road course (and sometimes street)
Tyres:
Racing rally studs (x2) for the ice track, 295/50R16 for the street and 310/710R18 / 300/660R18 racing slicks for the road course.

Build story
I´ve always liked the Camaros that used to race here in Finland in the early eighties and then I had the chance to make myself a tribute to those cars.
It took me several years to "finish" the build since we have built a house and had two daughters since I started with the car, but it has now been back on the streets for 5 years. In that time I have already rebuilt the motor 2 times, since I take it to the road course and I drive it hard. One time the crank bearings let go and the other time I dropped a valve.
I have made almost everything myself, execpt machining the block and balancing the crank.
I take this car everywhere: road course, rallycross, ice racing, drag racing and cruising.
