Build story
Tetanus is a 150cc Carter Talon. Impulse bought on fathers day 2018. Didn#039;t run, had wiring issues, frame rotted, brakes worn out, no seat, 2 different size tires, didn#039;t matter, bought it anyway. Figured I could drive it till it broke in half then use the parts for something. cleaned the carb and fixed the wiring. but still wouldn#039;t start and had blowby while cranking. Cylinder/piston were shot so it got an ebay top end kit. Filter was missing so it got a Uni filter and a 302 windsor radiator hose intake. Reverse gearbox was blown apart so it got new bearings welded in. It came with a boat seat which was not mounted so I installed a New beetle seat (because that#039;s the smallest seat I found near checkout on an all you can carry day at the junkyard). It promptly fell apart. The front headlight is held together with electrical tape.
It#039;s spent most of its time sitting in my back yard. First trip out it spent most of it#039;s time getting stuck and dumping gas everywhere before the rim started spinning in the tire. It fried the belt on the way back and had to be towed by 2 mini bikes.
12AM the night before a 24 hour enduro race I dragged it out of the weeds and cleaned the carb out while standing in mud. I drove it most of the event, sliding around corners in the mud and jumping it. I also rolled it (I#039;m still waiting on pictures of that).
