Build story

Before you dismiss this as "just another CJ5 build” Think to yourself, what better platform to learn how to weld, fabricate, upgrade, and teach the next generation the basics.
This CJ started out life as a mostly stock CJ5. It did not run so it was towed home. By the end of the weekend, it was running OK and used it to yank some trees out of the yard. Then child #1 came around and the CJ was pushed over into the corner. A few years passed and it was time to start on the project again. Going strong. Tar down was going well and then a few upgrades. BOOM child #2 and #3 arrived on the scene and it was time to put the project back into the corner. New job, New house, New shop all came next. With the new job came new friends to help me out with my expensive hobbies. After wheeling with them, I quickly realized that a stock CJ not as safe as it should be for some trails. 13 years passed in total, and it was time to drive it down the road. On the long trips to the trails, I was glad I had my 12V Dodge to pull the Jeep to its destination. My family and I have been wheeling it ever since as well as teaching them how to drive a manual. I am sure they will be one of the few when they get to high school.

I started my own Youtube channel less than a year ago and I love that my kids are in there with me. Not only being my camera crew but learning what your imagination can produce. I think I might have done something right because all three of them want 4x4s, 35s and all of them must be Manuals.
