2nd gen dodge.long arm front suspension, fresh rebuild on motor, lockeing diffs,flatbed, fuel system, ace replacement 60 gal tank, custom 30 gal stainless steel transfer tank to run the diesel fired coolant heater and water /air heater for fresh hot water, move front bumper kit. Remove the dash fixed all the broken plastic. Rear seat delete I built out of aluminum. Added a molle panel for gear storage. Replaced the center console with 3rd gen console. Used kilmat on the entire cab interior. New headliner. Rear shackle flip, rear disc brake kit with e brake.
Build story
I never owned a dodge cummins and I always liked the body of the 2nd gen. Picked up a beat 1999 2500 4x4 with 320k 5 speed manual. I’ve completely gone thru the truck not quite finished yet but drivable.
Fresh motor, new input shaft and 5th gear nut, cooling fins on the nv4500, fresh locking diffs, new clutch, new 241dhd transfer case. Removed the crushed stock bed. Built a flatbed, move build kit bumper, diesel coolant heater, diesel water heater, diesel air heater, spare tire carrier from 454 sports. Tool boxes will go on and a lumber rack, transfer tank for gasoline and water.
