Build story
Bought this car from a dude over an hour and a half from where I live. It turns out, he drug it out of a garage right down the street from me in my neighborhood! The interior was shot, I’ve gutted it. It has no floor, but the exterior sheet metal is in good shape. The engine was rebuilt in my kitchen (see YouTube videos) and I replace the gas tank, brake and fuel lines. I welded up a new exhaust system too! I re-wired the whole car point to point using the schematic, and got an light and electricals running. So far, i reupholstered the front bench so I can drive it around town and enjoy it. It’s still a rattler, and lots of rust and crust, but it’s my very first car restoration, and I’m just figuring it out as I go. Everything is “for the first time” and I’m addicted.
