Build story

I bought the truck off e-bay out of Oklahoma as an unfinished father and son project. 99% rust free which is impossible to find in Wisconsin. I got it with a clapped out 400 sbc in it. Promptly removed that. Was going to be an LS swap, but a friend found the BBC in a scrap bin marked as having low oil pressure. He gave it to me and I rebuilt the bottom end, added the cam, Sniper EFI and accessories.

I did small things like replace the steering box, added a tilt column and minor things like that. Luckily all the suspension, brakes and interior was already done by previous owner!
The trans is unsurprisingly not happy behind the BBC. I have a stage 2 4l80e and a controller that will be going in as soon as the weather warms up.

Truck runs and drives great! Paint is rough so no concerns about getting it scratched or someone setting a beer can on the hood. I drive it a bunch in the summer and it will be my 2021 PowerTour vehicle assuming there is a Power Tour.
