Right now the only thing that has been done is short tube headers and a cold air intake. My plans with the bronco is to 08 axles swop it out of a F350. Do a ZF5 manual swap. Put aluminum heads and a cam in. Build my own role Cage in it so I can make this a full blown Rock crawler
Build story
I have owned my bronco since I was 16 and now I am 25. The bronco has been sitting for at least 5 years now because of a bad transmission. The bronco will start up and run if it had a new battery. It used to sit in a field until I move from that house. So it’s going to need electrical work because of Field mice.
So for doing the axle swap I bought a frame with axles on it. So that way I could knock out all the buckets and brackets to transfer it over to the bronco. Currently there are no kits to do this axle swap on a bronco. I’ve seen these actual swaps done on 90s F350 or f250 but I have seen anyone do it on a bronco. I am hoping to start a YouTube channel showing hell I do the axle swap
The automatic that’s currently in it needs a rebuild and I really don’t want to pay to get it rebuilt again and everyone I’ve talked to said it’s better to do a manual swap. The manual swap I am doing is pretty straightforward it’s just taking parts off from one vehicle to put it on my vehicle
