I used to never be into cars, but after I got married I moved into my house that’s right beside my brother in-laws house. He’s always been into cars and trucks and into street racing. One night he asked if I wanted to go to the local spot and I said yeah I will tag along. As soon as I seen the first pass made I was hooked. I told him, man I have to do this. So I got in touch with a guy that had this mustang and I went and traded a gun for it. I pulled it out the woods and got to work. I had no clue what I was doing but I learned as I went and got as much help from my brother in Law as I could. The motor came out of a 2004 Tahoe that was wrecked. I upgraded the cam and Valve springs and swapped it to a carb set up then put the motor in the car. It took a whole year to get it to move under it’s own power. After 2 years I finally made it to its first race. I tried to go as budget as I could buying a part here or there and piecing it together. It took a lot of hard days and nights to get it where it is now. It looked completely destroyed when I first saw it in the woods, but It was all I could afford. I just can’t believe I can actually take it to a track. It makes me feel good knowing I pulled it out of the woods and built it myself. Especially when I actually win a race
