Build story

I bought the truck when I was 15 with the intention of Cummins swapping it when the 460 gave out. Drove it for 2 years and put like 35000 kms on it and spent a lot on fuel and I decided it was time to swap it when the 460 stopped starting.

I completely redid the truck, pulled the body off and got the frame sandblasted and painted so it would last for years to come and then it got put by the wayside for a little bit.
I picked up a VE pump 12valve and 47re for $1000 sold the trans for $500 and figured I did well. We put the engine in after I got the zf5 mated up to it. Then I looked at the original cab floor and it was toast from front to back so i bought a parts truck for the cab. After tearing it apart I started putting the cab and front clip back on to finish mocking things up before I painted. Then I took the body all off again and kicked the frame and engine back outside and started prepping for paint. After probably a combined total of 2 weeks of body work I had the body where i thought it should be ready for paint, so i started laying paint and for being 18 i think it turned out pretty good. So I finished paint up then put the body back on and finally got to take it for the first drive in over a year.

The truck was reliable up until the injection pump gear shattered which spun the crank gear and broke the cam and then all the push rods bent and shattered most of the lifters. My Brother was nice enough to basically give me a p pump engine on trade for helping him out, so we got it running and put it in the truck when I then redesigned the engine mounts to be much more stout than the originals we made. Wrapped it all back up and then the turbo was toast, swapped in an h1c for a while until i got an HE351 off of a 3rd gen dodge, Best upgrade the motor got i think, but it didn#039;t think so when it blew the head gasket (too much boost i think) so i studded it and haven#039;t had many problems since.
