So far an engine swap but that is step one in one of many steps but I couldn’t be happy with my comet.
Build story
After I hit rock bottom I put away $100 for 6/7 months which put me in March of 2020 and the Monday after I purchased the car a certain virus shut the dmv down. I was stuck for a bit but once I got it street legal I I drove it on a Saturday and Sunday I blew a piston and luckily found that straight 6 from a 65 mustang. I’m in the process of doing a complete brake overhaul so I can enjoy it this summer. I’m hoping to tackle it like Johnny cash one piece at a time but this comet means a lot to me and it will be with me until the day I get to see my grandfather again.
