Build story
Originally purchased the car in 2018 as a Write off / Wreck / Salvage for just £4k and spent the first 5 months of ownership returning it to it’s former glory, the full history of which can be seen here:
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0f=t=1730696
During 2020 pandemic and the lockdown in the UK at the time I decided to keep myself busy by knuckling down on my car and starting a youtube channel along the way.
With my channel coming up to it’s 1 year anniversary my GT86 has gone through a total transformation once again with a full Rocket bunny body kit, big chunky wheels tyres, full front rear big brake kit and further suspension mods it’s lightyears apart from it’s original apperance and it’s still good fun seeing people’s reactions when I show them the state i purchased it in.
All of the work I carry out myself as a Hobby as well as all the filming, editting, etc which can practically be a job in and of itself at times.
With the car now officially at "Show car" status i’m now looking to give it the grunt it deserves to go along with the looks as i’m currently in the process of rebuilding an LS3 V8 to eventually just gently slip under the bonnet later in 2021 all of which i’m definitely going to document on my channel!
