What didn’t I mod... that’s a better question.
I threw a 700r4 in it and then I threw the 454 big block at it. The trailing arms are tubular. Modified most of the interior to be made back to stock more or less. (Floor)

Build story

Picked it up about 2 years ago because my family is into building things. My biggest project before this was my twin turbo 1986 virago 1100. I’m the only dumbass that would ever think putting turbos on an air cooled motorcycle was a good idea. But here we are and it runs great. So I decided it was time for a bigger project. I found it on market place and had to have it after looking at it. The guy pulled it out of his barn a week or two before I found it. I brought it home and that night my brother and I drove it off of the trailer. Needed an alternator and a belt and fluids. As well as a break line. Let’s just say I had it running off of a 2.5 gallon gas can for a couple days. I took it to a parade 4 days after purchasing it. That was sketchy to say the least, I think one break worked. The first winter I had it I redid the interior as in filled in massive holes and then this last winter I built a 454 (for fun). I bought the cheapest parts I could. I used the stock internals and just replaced the bearings, piston rings, and cam. This was all done in my little garage with hand tools and a torpedo heater. I am looking forward to my first power tour!
