Mods
Haven’t done much yet, it’s still a work in progress. Mostly getting it running and find out what I need to fix. But I have done some interior mods as it didn’t come with much for interior.
Rust repair on floors.
Kilmat installed on the interior floor.

Build story
I have always been a fan of the car/pickup/Ute vehicles. While I was temporarily layed off from work for COVID I thought it would be a good time to pick up another project. So I put an add out on kijiji and got a response. It was located just outside of Edmonton, the previous owner said it ran but he hadn’t started in “a while”. Went and looked at it and decided I had to have it, and the wife didn’t complain.
I got it home and got to work on it. Got it running pretty easy but it was not running good. Did a carb rebuild, replaced the alternator, chased a bunch of wiring demons, started rust repair, and redid some of the interior using seats from the Pick n Pull.
Then found out that the Ranchero had never been registered in Alberta, now I have a lot more work to do before I can get it inspected and on the road.
All of this and future work can been seen on my YouTube channel Just A GearHead.
