Build story
Our LS Swapped 1969 El Camino is an awesome resto mod, performance car/truck!! Last year at the car show it won best car and best truck ? Just kidding but it has honestly been awesome to drive!
We built it and set a deadline for ourselves to take it across the United States through Yellowstone National park and to a huge car show in Iola Wisconsin. Since there isn't a lot of cargo space to pack anything we found a rare gem top for it to secure all of our supplies. We thought we might be broken down most of the time but the LS did not miss a beat! We installed a small dometic Fridge in between the bucket seats and had cold snacks for the whole trip. Some must have mods for the trip were a vintage Air conditioning kit, hydro boost for the brakes, spare parts in case of an emergency and a car alarm. There is something about taking a 50 year old car you built yourself up the Bear Tooth Pass that you just will not get in a modern vehicle. It was the trip of a lifetime and we hope to have way more adventures in our Restomodded Elco!
