No mods as such...I'm trying to keep this as stock as possible to help resell value, but I have replaced a number of things on the car just to get it road worthy... more than I thought I would need to. What started out as a 'quick flip' turned into a bottomless money pit! I should have known eh... So far I've replaced, the whole front suspension and components, tires, a wheel, a wing, a wing mirror, front bumper, 3 wheel arch outer surrounds, the exhaust from the cat back (stock replacement), countless interior parts, front crash beam / brackets etc, a headlight, the list goes on.

Build story

After being laid off for a few months last year, I though I'd flip a few cars to keep me busy. Having owned several Hondas over the years and having a salvage yard down the road from me, it made sense to start with a civic, I flipped my first one having just replaced a door for £60 and made £600 profit on the car, then I purchased this... a 2007 Honda Civic Type R. You know what the pictures are like on copart...pretty terrible quality and when this turned up it was quite the shock! But I should have known better than to start spending money on it, 9 months later and I'm still at it. With countless hours, blood sweat and tears and not to forget a small fortune spent, I'd be glad to see the back of this crate!

It's passed it's inspection (after failing the first time in December) and is now road worthy, but with the constant lockdowns here in the UK no one's buying cars!... except me, I've since made 2 other questionable purchases, both being Hondas, both from the same salvage yard... take a look at my channel to see where we're at... I like to think I could be Tyler Hoovies, apprentice one day.

Please Roast away...
