Build story
This project started from a 2000 Porsche Boxster I bought from Copart back in 2019, its a black car outside with Grey Interior and of course a manual transmission. It had a front end damage on drivers side so I had to get a front bumper Drivers side fender and headlight and drivers door airbag with door panel. Oh, and I had to rebuild the rear suspension because it was damaged. This car is important because by the end of 2019, actually 2 days before New Year of 2020 I crashed it coming back from a car meet with Magnus Walker. And because I spend so much time and energy rebuilding that car, I didnt want to just throw it away and decided to buy another Boxster of the same era and use my black Boxster as donor. So here comes my 2001 Porsche Boxster, this time in deep red exterior and black leather interior, but with the same manual transmission. It had a damage on the passenger side in the rear, needed new tail light and rear bumper and a new roof, the parts I had from my donor car. I got it from Copart as well, it was advertised as starting and not driving car and once it my hands It actually cost me $11 to make it drive again. And for that car I had to pay only $1800 plus all the fees associated with it. That car was a mass inside and out, so there were a lot of cleaning involved. As I installed rear bumper, the black with red them called me and I decided to swap parts from the black car just so that I can continue with that theme. Ive also decided to change some interior parts as well and mix it with grey witch looks very interesting as well and not at all similar to any other Boxster. Because there were a good amount of black on the rear of the car that being the rear bumper and the spoiler. the front had nothing and looked boring, to I bought a black vinyl and made stripes which is always sporty. Ive also changed side mirrors to be black, and also wrapt black in vinyl door handles do have more black on red theme going from each side. Currently the project is not finished and the video submitted was from when I bought the car and going over everything that it needs and next video should be out when the car is fully done which is not far out, it just needs new rear toe arms that are on the way and new exhaust (do not have funds yet to purchase) and a new axle or axles because it shakes if I get at speeds over 65 mph, I suspect that one of the axles is bent, but I have a replacement for it. But the car drives nice below that speed, went to Autocross with it to test my work and the car held up very well and brought me home safe. High speed is not where this car shines, but at curvy roads of a mountain. Havent driven any other car that would handle as good as this for the money. Even though it only has 215 HP from factory when new, in Porsches language its more like 350 hp lol.
