The only real "mod" is the edelbrock 600 that was supposed to go on a f100 project that I sold. I cut the factory cat off of it and ran a glasspack for added boom, I redid the wiring in the car atleast 3 times (redoing being I put a few wires together and jumped a few fuses with tinfoil). It has new lights on all four corners, new front tires, and wheels off of a 76 camaro donator. Other than that, its all been fix and go. Put floor mats over the holes in the floors, air freshners to mask the smell of 44 year old gm interior, washing, and pissing a lot of people off when I say its not for sale (unless someone comes up with $10k they wanna throw away)

Build story

A lot of duct tape, sweat, minor amounts of tetanus, hammering shift linkage with a ratchet, all the WD40, and some bribing. I bought the car from my grandfather as a project
after it had been sitting for almost 16 years in Chicago mostly for the legacy of it. My grandfather is a big Nova guy, being that his first car was a Nova, and I got to share (just about) the same feeling, even though it is not my first car. Its a lot, but Ive got 20 years in the Navy ahead of me and every penny I earn, Im sinking into this car for better or for worse. But right now, Im making the best of it; donuts, driving it until it breaks and fixing it where it broke, totally legal NHRA approved drag racing ;), and a great source of knowledge into the world of GM (Im a diehard ford person). Ive got big future plans including a full rebuild on the 350 and a tune up for the 4 speed, comp thumper cam and new bearings all around, quarter kits and full floor pan rebuild, straighten body panels, new cooling system, full ice white with a blue pinstripe, touch-up on the wiring system in it, a good set of street slicks on 15’s, and whatever else I can think of that I cant afford right now.
