Build story

Hello!

A few things about the build. A good friend found the 1955 Chevy in Indiana. We basically stole the car. Originally, we were going to flip the car and resale it and instead thought we would try something new. (My dad and myself have built a few trifive chevys and it#039;s a love we both share). We got the idea to convert it into a 2-door sedan and the rest is history. After getting over the &fear& per-say of chopping up a tri-five I got an image that I wanted to accomplish.

This build is done to show that it can be done on a budget and they can be fully restored. This car had the typical rust from sitting in a field for years and instead of patching the floors we decided to do a full one-piece floor pan. We used the original rear doors on the car to cut down to make the quarters. We came across a great deal on the front doors & trunk and changed those, because they were in a bit better condition than the ones we had.

The entire vision is to do flat black paint job and all stainless and bumpers will be gloss black. We will be swapping the motor and will be putting in a LS conversion with the Holley Terminator X Max. It will have a 10 bolt posey track rear end that is already cut down to width with richmond gears and moser axles, as well as, will also have a 4 link rear suspension in the near future.

Keep an eye out on the build. This car will not only be built as a cruiser but a fun run track car as well!
