Build story

I bought this Jeep 2 years ago as a project that had sat in a garage for 20 years. A gentleman owned and started the project, lost interest and the Jeep sat for years until he passed away. I bought it when the widow wanted it gone. Although I’ve done a lot of work to it, the rusty patina on the outside has been kept mostly intact. Last year’s IQCS really helped me push to get it done. The idea is a locker, stocker, skinny bias ply tire machine. No light bars, or angry eye grills here. The chassis and floors have been completely rustored, but the patina on the outside still shines. All the work was done by myself with a Princess Auto flux core welder, and a cheap grinder, in a single car garage. Since becoming road legal, I have put 500kms on it, which at a top speed of 80 kph, is no small task.
