Totally new and improved fuel tank that came off of a diesel fishing boat, a 300I6 that has seen more abuse then pegnleggens 7.3 idi, a hearty amount of ether, custom exhaust and bracketry (old legs off of a garden chair are the exhaust hangers) with a $7.99 flapper on a straight pipe stack, the truck ran on a total of 3 cylinders and most of them burnt more water than gas or should I say not gas. Custom seat covers, gun rack, bed off of a 1989, the 300 also came out of a 1989 but I used the original parts, a brushguard (which I cut off for another project) that was put together with parts off a cop car, tires older than I am, cruise control and high idle: a brick under the seat, CB radio mounts, wiring that would give a dodge a good name, and a lot more.

Build story

Well to be honest, my why would be because I loved the truck. I told myself multiple times driving it to highschool that no matter how sketchy a ride it is with 0 brakes, 0 power steering, and a full turn of play in the wheel, it is still the funnest truck Ive had. A 4 speed granny, a 300I6, and one of the smaller wheelbase trucks made it an offroad machine, plus it got a lot of attention from the local Ford dealership (they even made me a shirt which ill include a picture of) When I first got the truck I had bought it off of the original owners grandson (the original owner passed away sadly enough) with the intention of full restoring it. However, when I started driving it, it was too far gone. Rust had claimed most of the underside of the cab, aswell as every door, the hood, the bed, the radiator support, and all body mounts. So I jack-knifed that idea for a new one, ratrod offroader. Everything I did to the truck was out of either A) Pure stupidity or B) Plain and simple lack of money.
