Build story

"Dont get it right, just get it running!"

I LS swapped my 89 s10 blazer. Everyone is all LS SWAP THE WORLD

-Well thas cool, but if you dont have a full size car or truck, it gets tight. This swap is tight even without ac, but it works, and works amazing! This truck is a rocket with a stock 5.3. And will do burnouts for days. I havent been to a 1/4 mile, but i can safely say the truck is twice as fast from stock. Stock HP was 150 with tbi 4.3. Stock ls hp is 300. So I literally doubled the horsepower.

I blew up the stock 7.5 inch ring gear right out of the gate. I swapped in 94 ford exploder 8.8 rear end with 3.27 gearing and lsd. The lsd unfortunately after all the burnouts I have done, the clutches in the LSD have seen their better day. I have a 3.73 gear change to do along with a Detroit tru-trac carrier to put in.

The future brings a 6.0 ls swap, the rear gear change, modify the oil pan so the front differential can be put back in *its just 2wd right now, but has transfer case already in place, just no room for the diff, and i lived by David Frieburgers quote "dont get it right, just get it running"
