an effective, and cost savings, 100% factory style fuel bucket
Build story
This is my 87 K5 Blazer which I bought last August with the intent of driving it as a winter truck but the project has snow balled into re-placing the hole rear floor, both Quarter panels and basically restoring the whole thing. To get it to move around the property I had to rig up something because the old rusted fuel tank wasn’t going to do, so I went down to the local hardware store and got me a bucket with a lid, then I proceeded to drill a whole into it, plopped the factory sender in a piece of wood and called it a day. It looks basically factory. I’ve always wanted to own one of these so I went online and bought the cheapest one I could afford and I’ve come to a time in my life where you have to cart other humans around and all my other 2 seaters aren’t cuttin it anymore. Hoping to have it done this year before the time I bought it last year. Can I do it..... Probably not haha but I’m gunna try!
