I#039;m a college student in Navy ROTC trying to wrap up my senior year at Miami University, but my Corvair here, Lucy, makes it difficult sometimes. She’s a ’65 Monza, 110hp, 4-Speed, Conveertible. I got her back in August of last year. As you can see in the pictures, she was pretty rough when I first got her from Virginia, but was kept running while she was sitting for 40-odd years. The previous owner was a body guy and got this car after it had rear-ended somebody, so it#039;s a blue car in front and frame/rear of a red one. Original drivetrain and all, the damage was extensive but (allegedly) body panels only. I got her running better, did some shoddy bodywork, and made it one color (yes I did the whole body in por15), as well as doing completely unnecessary things like brakes, fuel system, and suchlike. It#039;s been a lot of work to get to here, and there#039;s plenty left to do, but I#039;m enjoying every bit!
