As of now, this 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo is a completely stock project car with a turbocharged incline 6 7M-GTE engine. This model has a 5 speed manual transmission along with Toyota's arsenal of new technology, like 3-channel ABS and TEMS, which gives the driver two settings that affect the damper rates and a third that is automatically activated at wide open throttle, hard braking and high speed maneuvering. This model also has the targa top that can be stowed in the back.
Build story
This 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo was a gift from my dad after I graduated college in 2005 and has been a daily driver since. I plan to keep it mostly stock since it has the "white package", which was introduced in 1989, featuring white body molding and white "saw blade" wheels. Interior choices were limited to blue and burgundy only and this one has the blue interior.
