Build story
I bought this truck from a gentleman that had pulled this truck out of a field where it sat for 15 years. He never got it to run and gave up on it and put it in his grove for another 2 years. I bought it for 1200 bucks and brought it home. I rebuilt the single barrel carb and changed oils when the inevitable happened. I broke the ignition on my 1992 F-150 and was waiting on parts. So I did what any desperate 20 year old mechanic would do. I put gas in the tank and drove it. That was about 2 years ago and its still my daily driver. Its a 300 Inline 6 Engine with a 3 speed on the column. I recently moved from southern MN all the way up 20 miles from the Canadian boarder and this was my chariot. I have a 302 V8 my dad started rebuilding in high school that was for his mustang that Im going to finish rebuilding and drop in here and repair all the rust with new body panels. This truck has been nothing but loyal since Ive owned it and literally havent touched the engine since I got it other than a Water pump and Thermostat.
