I had a 7.3 and 2wd ZF5 so needed a platform with divorced transfercase. I bought the 72 in Saskatchewan and drove it home.
The swap took one winter and I drove it for 3 years making minor upgrades. The idi doesn't push enough power for the sort of work I do now and the family was growing so it was time for a new project to address all of the things I did wrong the first time around.
