Build story

Wanted to do a 5.9, but couldn’t find one for my budget at the time. I did find a 95 f250 that had a bent frame for 2k. So I started the swap. Used the 67 frame and welded in the engine crossmember from the 95 truck. Engine sat fairly low which I liked but the power steering pump hit the power steering gear box. I bought a electric steering motor from a saturn vue and made a bracket to mount it in the engine bay between the column and manual steering box. I didn’t want the powersteering pump to be there doing nothing, so I bought a idler pulley and mounted it in one of the ps pump mounting holes(did have to get a slightly longer belt). The engine harness from the 95 f250 was stripped of everything I didn’t need and used. I Wire wheeled the entire frame and painted with por 15. Replaced the front leafs with heavy duty ones. Truck started off as auto so I swapped the rear axle from the 95 as the speed sensor is in the axle. That’s about it.
