Got the truck with a blown e4od a couple years ago, got another at a junkyard and haven't had to dick with the old girl for 30,000 miles until I locked out the wastegate and cranked the IP. After about 5k miles, the head gasket left the chat.
Once you pull out the engine, you look for things to do to help prevent doing it again. I got a little carried away, but I'm missing the 130CC injection pump I want to finish the old girl and make it at least keep up with diesels from the early 2000s.
