Mid 90s Eddie Bauer leather interior swap.
Build story
I go Bronco around 2005 in Arkansas and drove it back home to Mississippi. That 6 hour drive turned to 9 hours and about 10 extra quarts of oil. Timing cover had a crack in it. . It had sat for many years. Had wiring issues. The window motors were missing and the windows were held up with coat hangers. the interior was so sun baked that everything crumbled. Replaced the door panels and window motors with ones from early 90s f150. It had a light switch from a house mounted to the dash to start it. I fixed all of that and the rest of the rats nest of wiring issues. Replaced interior and then drove it daily for years. Then let it set up due to life. Started back on it a couple of years ago. I've replaced entire fuel system. It runs ok, but the front end is trashed so now I need to replace everything steering and suspension related. Long and expensive process that I'll eventually be able to do. My goal is to just drive it reliably and enjoy it.
I have to say that this Bronco saved my marriage. About a year after we got married, my wife told me that if we split, she's taking my Bronco. We've been married 15 years now.
