Build story
1988 Mercury Cougar Xr-7, 5.0 V8 with AOD transmission and 8.8 factory trac lock diff. Nothing at all special was just time to have a nice tame cruiser car, was just in need of bodywork and paint. Thanks to help from my brothers and Dad we managed to get it finished up in acouple weeks. I painted it in the shop at my parents place, thankfully base clear can be forgiving in a sense of being able to wet sand any impurities out, downside is definitely the amount of time I spent buffing/polishing it. All and all I'm happy with how it turned out and its a very nice comfortable car.
