Build story
This is my 1990 ford bronco project, I have 2 broncos, a 1990 and 1985. I bought the 85 at 15 to be my first vehicle but upon further inspection the body was way too rotten. plans starting brewing and I started collecting parts.
Many years later this is where we are. I named this project the Wronco because everything I’m doing to it would be wrong to a ford purist. I bought the 1990 because the body and frame have minimal rust for a Canadian truck. Plans are to swap the 1985 panels on the 1990 body because I like the bullnose more. I have swapped 2005 f250 superduty axles under it to help hold up to the abuse of the Cummins.
Currently plans
Rebuild/upgrade rear suspension
Rebuild transmission and convert to 4x4
Rebuild transfer case to mate to transmission
Refresh axles
Sand blast and paint rolling chassis
Once the rolling chassis is done I’d like to put the original body on it and drive it around for a year to make sure I don’t have any problems before doing the body work.
Trying my best to video it all to show my build progress and put it on YouTube.
