Build story
Ever since i was a kid Ive been a huge car guy. Ive built a number of cars over the years and still have probably a few too many of them lol. One of my biggest childhood dreams though was to one day have my own KITT.
I got the car this past April in not super great shape, from a buddy that had used it as his winter beater (pretty sure he’s a member ?) Spent every day for a month welding in patches and doing body work. I spent the rest of the summer doing a “rolling restoration” rear end has been rebuilt. All new shocks, springs, tie rods, trailing arms, yadda yadda. Everything steering and suspension wise is brand new.
Through the power of the internet i managed to track down all the parts i needed to get the exterior looking like KITT. One day i may do the interior but its not high on my priority list. I drive this car everywhere! Put almost 10k km on it this summer while spending a majority of its time on jack stands.
He will be getting a fresh coat of paint before the snow flies or first thing in the spring after he gets his heart transplant and fresh T5 put in ?
