700R4 transmission, crate 350, Edelbrock intake manifold/4 barrel carb, Hedman headers and dual exhaust

This truck is an original AZ 1971 Chevy C20 long bed from Chapman Chevrolet in Phoenix. My Dad purchased it from the original owner in 1992 and it was his daily driver until the late 90s when he parked it due to an excessive oil leak. Fast forward to 2015 and I started rebuilding it with a friend after it sitting for nearly 20 years. I put a new crate 350 engine and 700r4 trans in it and replaced all of the interior. In April 2023 front front end was painted to get all of the replacement body panels the same color along with an oem grill. However it’s still a dirty old truck and is mostly faded paint and patina. My friend’s son called my truck hopeless when he was a kid and the name struck.
