1972 Dodge Charger. 360 Magnum swap. Torqueflight 904 trans.
Build story
I bought the wasted Dodge Charger about 5 years ago. It had a blown up engine, non running trans and a burned up wiring harness. I replaced the harness, and rebuilt the transmission in my basement. The engine spun a main bearing shortly after that. While inspecting that I realized the front drivers frame rail was rusted out. I replaced the frame rail and trans torsion support. I sourced a used Dodge ram 360 and installed that. I have updated all the suspension and brake, fuel lines. It finally runs very well. I feel good that I saved this hunk of metal from the scrapyard. I have done all of this work in a tiny tiny single car garage in Minneapolis. I had no fancy lift or frame table. Like Rich says, it is possible.
