Build story
I've had this 1964 Ford Fairlane for about 20 years. It was found in a field in Tennessee. Originally it came with an inline 6 cylinder and a 3 speed on the column. The car always wanted to go faster so clearly an updated power plant was necessary. I rebuilt the 5.0 in my garage for my first engine rebuild. It is bone stock, but with the lightweight of the Fairlane it is pretty quick. Suprisingly there isn't a lot of aftermarket support for the Fairlane so I have had to "make" almost all of my parts to make it fit. I made the engine mounting brackets, clutch brackets, trans mount and modified the QA1 front suspension so it would fit. I am very proud of the work I have done. Enjoy.
