I am building a large addition to my house and needed options for ladders and materials. After a few very large loads I added the modular rear hoop that can go on anywhere along the heavy rails. Otherwise the rear hoop hangs on the shop wall until needed. I had a "Back Rack" brand on an old truck and never liked it. The materials were about $275 as I went heavy than probably needed. Very happy with it so far. Rails are 1"x3/8" flat bar with 3/16" base plate.
