Build story
1976 Chevy Cheyenne 10, this was my first vehicle I got when I was 15, I had fixed the rust to the best of my abilities at the time, treated it with a rustoleum paint job, I took my driving test in this truck and had been my primary source of transportation from 2017 to 2023, taking me to and from work, lots of parts acquisition trips for other projects, vacations, doing truck things.
The body presently has 200k+ miles on it, and being a Midwest truck has its fair share of rust, which I hope to tear it down and treat it with a full floor pan, new rockers, bed, all done right and give it a proper paint job in its original Rosedale red and Buckskin center.
The engine is a good running 357, nothing crazy, pulls great vacuum, starts right up, with the 3.07 gears and 31" tires its a bit of a slug from a dead stab, but once rolling can shift at 5500 and pulls good and will run 70 down the highway without issues.
SEE-TEN has been an excellent source of transportation for me and I intend to keep it forever.
