Build story
This is my 1969 international harvester fleetstar f2000d I payed $500 for the truck had sat in my hometown for 30+ years i always road past this thing as a kid and said to myself one day, I'll make it new again, after attempting to get the low flow 230 running again, i came to the realization.I wanted something more practical that I could tow my other projects with i then found a 92 s4900 low pro truck on marketplace after low balling, the guy for a month straight, he finally caved in, and I bought the truck sight unseen, it had a dt360 and a spicer five speed i drove over two and a half hours to get it and drove it back with no issues flat towing my 4 runner all the way back after measuring and cutting I removed what was left of the cabs outer shell, leaving the firewall and the flowboard intact, i removed what was left at the cab, measured and cut what I didn't need off the fleet star cab, i then set the fleet star cab on the existing floorboard and firewall tacked it in place, and welded what needed to be Welded i then fabricated new brackets for the hood on the cooling pack and modified the wiring harness to work,
