1988 Chevrolet R-30

-full air bag setup on all 4 corners with remote air control valve and air horn

-heavy duty MOVE bumper kit with a badlands 12,000 LB winch and north light pods

-glowshift gauge cluster for air bag pressures and tach + air horn swtich

-rebuilt and upgraded TBI 454 BBC bored .030 over and larger cam and pushed from 7.75:1 to roughly 10:1 compression raito

This truck is a 1987 Chevy R30 with a TH400 automatic trans and a 454 BBC with TBI. The truck has a dump bed on it that was in desperate need of a new bed.

found this truck in June 2023 at a family reunion sitting in a field for approximately 8-15 years as the previous owner had passed away and his wife had kept it but wanted to get rid of it so I made an offer of $250 and the next week I set out to try and get it started and drive it home (about a mile).

around November of 2023 i had a near by painter/body shop owner offer me a deal to do most of the body work in exchange to hunt my property. this as many people probably know led to the situation of "while I'm here I might as well...." and what was going to be just rust repairs and clean up turned into a full frame off resto mod, leading to a built 454 BBC (still running the factory TBI but that may change), rebuilt transmission, all new suspension with airlift airbags, a MOVE full grille bumper with a winch, and many other things done over the span of 1.5 years with the build being fully assembled but not done 7/23/2025
