Mods
1985 Toyota 4Runner (last year of OEM Factory Solid Axle) swapped with a Cummins R2.8 turbo diesel crate engine.
Transmission: Toyota R151f with dual gear driven transfer cases (2.28/4.7). 151F is notable for its lower than standard 1st gear. TCases give me high range, low, lower, compounded low x lower. Can select low ranges in 2wd or 4wd. Trans Tunnel was raised 2" to fit.
Axles: OEM axles, 3.7 nitro gears, ARB air locked f+r, ruff stuff dif armor
Wheels: OEM Toyota 15x7 Chrome steelies
Tires: Toyo Open Country M/T 33x10.5x15
Intercooler: Custom made front mount from Mishimoto Universal Core
Fuel Pump + Filter: FASS
Radiator: CSF 3 row for 3.0 engine truck.
AC: Yes
Lights: Holley Retrobrights + KC Flex Era 1
Brakes: T100 Booster, FJ80 Master, v6 Calipers, Slotted rotors. Still Drums in the back.
Steering: Converted to high steer/crossover fj80 tie rods, marlin knuckles, IFS steering box, skys offroad flat pitman
Suspension: Old Man Emu +2.5" leaf springs/shackles. Extra helper spring in the front. OME rear shock, bilstein 5160 front, Custom bumps. I have plans to improve this.
Bumpers: Front - Custom, Rear - Marlin Crawler, Sliders - Marlin, welded on
Exhaust - 3" Stainless
