The Project is a 1968 Dodge C500 (LCF) that did some time as a tanker truck for a rural fire department. I bought it for $1000 after college with plans of turning it into a roll back hauler for my other projects in 2019. It is powered by a 318 CI gas engine with a 5 speed trans and 2 speed rear end. Unfortunately it had issues with the brakes and clutch making it nearly impossible to drive. The motor runs like a top though. It got put on the back burner with getting married in 2020 and having children in 2021, 2022, & 2023. This year (2024) I was able to purchase a 1979 GMC General with a 6V92T and an 8LL to be the donor chassis to put the LCF sheet metal on.
