Build story

It has been 2years come July since I started this project. I hope to have it on the road by end of July. I had seen Rich putting the 4bt in the Tahoe and thought I should put one in my truck. It was a task getting clutch set up. Summit adapter plate that takes ford 6.0l starter. I got a bread truck flywheel that was 13.25" machined to 13" for ford ring gear and got it drilled for 12" chev clutch. I added a 1/4" spacer between the engine and transmission for proper throwout bearing clearance. I used the driveshaft from the 1999 and a stepsize u-joint. Currently working on the exhaust stack that is going to come up through the step on passenger side of box. Hopefully it won't melt the box. Lol I miss driving it. I had it running for 5 years put lots of miles on it and wanted it looking like a new one.
