Intended recipient of the Cummins 335 10spd+4.
The day cab is just not really the way I want to be functioning.

A family friend gave me this truck and the story on the engine is that it only has about 100 hours on the rebuilt engine.

I am aware of the mechanic who supposedly rebuilt the engine a while ago. This truck sat for over 20 years! Basically 3 batteries and some fresh diesel and it started.

This was the lift job I traded for the idi crew cab.

I’ve been thinking about how to incorporate the self loader into the swap project. Once the 335 gets into the F700 I was thinking of just turning the Kenworth into a trailer. Basically just add a step deck type 5th wheel king pin plate where the cab is and pull it around with the f700.

The 1960’s log truck kinda just landed in my lap for free! It does run and function. I’ve been slowly replacing hydraulic hoses as they blow.

I do have a 1994 F700 that I’m pulling the 5.9 out of for another swap. I’m considering putting the 335 from the kenworth into the F700. Mind you I’m basically doing these swaps on a 0$ budget and no extra time. It just keeps me busy and out of trouble.

I was given the IDI crew cab for free, just had to use the log loader to lift the Idi cab off the frame and lift the flatbed off that truck onto a guys trailer.
