Stock engine, had to do some "custom machining" to fit a 1.25" input shaft in the 95 tranny as well as convert it to an internal slave from the original ext. slave. Other than that the truck is assembles from factory parts.

Build story

I originally started with a 95 chevy k2500 6.5 diesel nv4500 5 speed, swapped the driveline into a 2000 k3500 with a good frame and did a restoration. Then put a second 6.5 in, 30,000 miles later and a ton of money in a that engine failed, so i decided to add 0.1 cu-in and make it a 6.6. Found an 03 donor truck with 130k miles and the rest is history. Did most of the swap outside in my tractor shed over winter on the side of a mountain. All of the adapters and mounts are either factory or built by myself. I bought a cheap plasma cutter and harbor freight welder a year before the build for other fun projects including tractor stuff.

Side bar, but the original 6.5 is now repowering my 84 k5 blazer with an nv3500 5 speed and its also pretty cool if you dont open the hood. Also have a handful of tractors from the 40s and 50s that i like to show off.
