It sits on a 88 chassis of the e350 extended that had a 4x4 conversion done by advanced 4x4 with a made for the conversion hd44. On the back of the frame I built a battery holder and diamond plated lid to house them and clear up space in the engine for hopefully make it easier to intercool it in the future
Build story
It’s taken way too long. I need to pull the engine and see what’s going on with it as I did some work to it and when I tried to start it up, it was a rough start shaking violently and then lack of accelerating. I heard a clang one time and need to investigate. Was trying to install turbo setup to na engine(I’m new to wrenching so I probably did something wrong).
Curious to the diesel hybrid Deboss is building up and if I have more serious engine issues and need to replace it, what engine are they planning on using for the kits? Would be super awesome to put my $ toward that rather than fixing or rebuilding this current setup. Is it just the Cummins r2.8, or are there other units that could work. I’d hate to invest and it not be the right setup for the conversion. Any help would be greatly appreciated
