Full leaf suspension, but a flipped rear axle and a dropped solid front axle to get the ride lower. Home built 360cid sbc with muncie 4 speed. And custom shifter so i didnt have to chop up the floor.
Build story
When i was younger i always wanted one of these trucks for my first car. And i was able to acquire what was left of one one about 5 years ago, then after that, me and my dad spent about 3 years doing a "full" frame off restoration in our back yard. It was going to be kind of a "rat rod"/"hot rod" so we never painted the exterior. When the time finally came, final assembly took most of about 4 hours so i would be able to drive it to my final day of high school. And ever since then it has been my daily driver. And yes, the hood, grille and steering wheel are from 57.
