Car is mostly stock with the exception of a vortec 350 and an nv3500 manual trans for them highway runs. Trans cross member and driveshaft of course are custom built 18 inch pvd chrome wheels of course
Build story
Really wanted to go with a 409 or 396 but honestly couldn’t afford it. So I pulled engine and trans from a 96 2wd work truck and made it work. I wanted the 5 spd for highway travel. I’m not putting a shiny paint job on it because it’s going to get driven all the time. Unfortunately it’s not quite done yet I was trying to have it done for power tour but slowed down and started taking my time on stuff once hrpt was “cancelled” it runs and drives currently just need to finish the dog house and get the disc brake setup on and put the interior back together! Mind you I started this project October 2019 I’ll attach an image from the day it was dropped off
